WEB SEARCH ENGINES
Evaluating websites is very crucial when using these websites in an education setting. One website that I thought that was great was Kidsknowit.com. This website is used as a learning tool for both teachers and students. This site allows students to play educational games as well. To make this website on-going, both teachers and students have dedicated their time to make the website on-going. Besides the website becoming an educational tool it is an informative piece for parents. A little background of this site is that it is located in Salt Lake City in 1998, and it is still maintain ever since. This website is built with the attentions of having free educational programs for students and teachers.

BLOG ATTACK!!!!
Blog is the new vogue. It is the latest to keep teachers organized and ready for the future. When using Blog one can: inform students of class requirements, post handouts, notices, and homework assignments, or act as a question and answer board. Communicating among teachers and students based on students academics, and providing students with feedback. Discussion is another component thatcan allow to discuss topics outside of the classroom and organize digital profile. Personally, getting to know the program, I would use it in the classroom. I would use the blog as a tool that will help me become more organized. The main concern is having students exposed to other websites and understanding how to be trained on issues as privacy policy, security, and freedom expression. For that reason parents should be more involved in reassuring students safety in the usage of blogs in a classroom setting. Parents should be trained about how their child is using the program.
